RESULTS: Neutrogena Stubborn Texture Liquid Exfoliating Treatment

I received a free 4.3 FL OZ (127mL) bottle of Neutrogena Stubborn Texture Liquid Exfoliating Treatment. It's formulated with 7% AHA Blend + Pro-Vitamin B5. It's fragrance free and gently removes dead skin and excess oil. I've been using it once every other day to avoid drying out my skin. I use Neutrogena Hydro Boost as a cleanser prior to appyling the exfoliant and followed by La Mer soft cream sparingly as a moisturizer. I didn't see immediate changes during the first few uses. But after using it for almost two weeks now, I feel like my skin is clearing up. It does cause mild redness when using, I didn't experience the warm tingling sensation. It's easy to use, cleanse your face, soak a cotton pad with the exfoliant and clean your face, don't rinse and follow-up with a moisturizer. It leaves your skin feeling soft. This bottle will last me months, definitely worth the price. It's very affordable.

This product helped clear up my skin but it leaves my skin feeling sticky until I wash my face the next morning. It seems to have cleared up acne as well so not complaining about the feel of my face.

This was my first time using a liquid exfoliating product. I was surprised how effective it is. After washing my face, I would apply the product with a cotton pad. It did sting a little, like an astringent, but not too bad. The smell was pleasant, nothing to chemically smelling. After letting it dry, I used a moisturizing product. After a couple days, I noticed some of the larger pores I had were getting smaller and my skin was getting a little more smooth. After about a week the results were getting better. Overall, I was very happy with this product and the results it can produce. I highly recommend this product, it's an easy step to add to your daily routine!

I’m liking the product so far. I have had problem skin for as long as I can remember. As soon as I swipe the cotton pad over my face I can feel a slight tingle which makes me feel like it’s working. It brought a lot of my acne to the surface so I feel like it got worse before it got better if that makes sense. I’m happy overall!

I feel like this product is pretty good for exfoliating. It does leave the skin feeling rather tacky. I found out I was pregnant about halfway through using this so I'm not sure I can give it a fair evaluation on how my skin looks as a result. The morning after applying, I do notice my face feels pretty smooth, but not overly dried out. I like the bottle and the overall texture of the product.

The bottle is a bit small, wish there was more product. However you definitely feel the tingle, letting you know it’s working. I’d suggest to pitch test it on yourself for people with sensitive skin. I also did notice a nice glow to my skin from the exfoliation you get.

I enjoyed using this product and i think it is a good exfoliator.

I have combination skin and it works great for reducing oil in my oily zones and my face doesn't feel stripped.

When I first started using the liquid, it definitely exfoliates! I used a cotton ball to apply the liquid, and the cotton ball turned completely brown with dead skin by the time I was done applying. And my face is slightly glowing. I was very impressed. My gripe with the product is that it leaves your skin feeling very sticky and gummy.

I like that it has niacinamide precursor and 7% AHA/BHA. Affordable. But, leaves my skin tacky. Absorbs well and helps clear up skin

I will caveat this review by saying that I have only used this product for two weeks and don’t see noticeable results in my skin texture or hyperpigmentation. BUT the ingredients list is packed with evidence-based ingredients that have been shown to reduce hyperpigmentation and my very finicky skin tolerated daily use, so I’m cautiously optimistic

I have always love Neutrogena products and this stubborn texture liquid exfoliation treatment is no exception. I am using the product on alternative days and can feel that my skin has been smoother.

This spot treatment is such an amazing product. As someone who has problems picking at my face this is such a gift. It has helped me immensely. It is fast acting and makes my skin look amazing after using.

this product smells strong, but also works pretty gently . i have only used a few times so far, but it definately seems to be helping without drying out my skin. good product

It got rid of existing acne fast but I been getting new acne since using. I'm not sure if it is the change of season or the product so I can't give a fair review. Didn't leave my skin dry or stiff.
