I purchased Briogeo’s Be Gentle, Be Kind Avocado + Kiwi Hair Mask with my own money. I love hair masks! I am always on the lookout for a mask that will pack my hair with moisture, but it's really important to me that it not contain protein. Many people don't realize it, but you can actually OVER-protein your hair. I found this out the hard way several years ago. I learned about how phenomenal protein was for my tresses, then I went bananas and used protein products every.single.day. Suddenly, the quality of my hair absolutely deteriorated. It was like straw!! I was at my wit's end when it started snapping off! Eeek! My hair was breaking apart. I then learned you can definitely have too much of a good thing. It's all about balance. Protein is fabulous for your hair every now and then, but your hair NEEDS moisture. Now I'm more careful about my hair mask purchases and this Briogeo product checks all the boxes. It IS gentle + moisturizing, leaving my hair looking AND feeling top notch!

This is great for dry ends. I have wavy hair so I get a lot of frizz. After using this mask, my waves were much more defined and I had a lot of moisture and didn’t have to reapply leave in conditioner for about 3 days

This smells absolutely amazing. The jar is a REALLY good size for the price you pay, and it lasts a really long time. I actually highly recommend this, because I might be slightly addicted. Go buy it.
