NEW NIVEA Caring Hand Soap Ecorefill

It took a long time to disintegrate in the container & only got a "decent" lather when used direct onto hands. If you applied it to a sponge or face cloth, it just disappeared! Bonus tho, it did smell really nice when used n didn't dry out my hands causing them to peel like most liquid soaps do to me😕 So, could do with being a bit more powerful to be honest......sorry!

Its scent is absolutely fresh and it cleans hands leaving it soft and smelling beautiful.

I absolutely love the smell. We all wish to improve recycling and reduce plastic, so I appreciated what Nivea has done with this product, and I'm all in for it. However, sadly it just finishes quite fast. So in a household with two adults, the bottle is pretty much 3/4 empty in 2 weeks. Noticed also that the last few drops aren't as foamy as in the beginning? Otherwise, if available at a decent price, then this is definitely something I'd buy.

Been using this product for a week now and I have to say I really do like it very easy to set up and when I use it my hands feel soft and smell nice for a long time after it last longer than any other hand wash

This is so good. I love that it dispenses a foam rather than liquid gel, so as long as you wet your hands first it gives a really thorough but gentle wash. I love the lemon grass scent which is a nice change from many of the other makes. It didn't take long for the tablet to dissolve. It is great to have a reusable bottle but wonder how long the pump will last. Overall I am really happy with the hand soap and will definitely be swapping to this as my normal hand soap.

From my usage of the product I think it does smell nice and also is eco friendly which is always a bonus however. This product when I placed the refill pod into the water as directed it took nearly 20 hours to disintegrate into the water in order for me to use it. I did try after 20 minutes as instructed but it kept clogging the tube with bits of the eco refill block. I have graded this as a two star given that other hand soaps don’t require the waiting time and also last longer that this soap dispenser.

Very easy to prepare and mess free. The lemongrass scent is lovely and very subtle.

I found that it took far longer for the tablet to dissolve than expected- nowhere as quick as the 30seconds indicated. Despite repeated vigorous shaking it took well over 15 minutes, unsure whether the water was not quite lukewarm enough to activate quickly. The hand soap does foam easily and effectively cleans your hands. In my opinion though the residual fragrance was sickly and my hands did not feel as nourished and moisturised as they do with my usual hand soap. I did appreciate the concept and admire the product's ecological pedigree.

This is a great idea and simple to use you just put the tablet in the bottle and add warm water it desolves quickly and you have a pump of lovely smelling foam soap i tried the lemongrass one amd it smelt lovely and clean and left my hands feeling soft and smooth its a great idea to stop so much plastic ending up in landfill and will make the weekly shop lighter too

Nivea, you have certainly done it this time. Just when I thought you had done as much as you possibly can, you come up with this product. It is absolutely fantastic. The first thing to say is how brilliant it is that it is doing it’s bit to help the environment. The refillable bottle saves the empty one going to landfill and the refill tab is just amazing. Everything is recyclable, the box, the tab packet and the bottle can be reused. The hand soap itself is lovely, it has a beautiful lemongrass scent which leaves your hands feeling and smelling so fresh and clean. It cleanses your skin without drying it out. With it being dermatologically approved, it gave me the confidence to use it over again especially now we have to wash our hands so regularly with covid. Well done Nivea, you certainly do care for the planet and for my skin. To all you readers who are reading this review, I can just say one thing and that is please give this product a try, you won’t be disappointed.

This product is easy to use, smells amazing and very gentle on the skin. The scent is very strong and everyone in my household loves it. It kept our hands feeling very clean and soft, it didn't dry out my skin like a lot of other hand soaps so i was very impressed. The packaging and the eco friendliness of the product really interested my and I love that you just need to buy refills instead of making more plastic waste, the design on the bottle was very flush and fit in nicely with my bathroom. that fact that everything was made from recycled materials was such a good added bonus.

It was a very good product it washed our hands very well and left our hands smelling fresh and clean. It was a very clever product that allowed you to top up with water which makes it easier to carry as there is less weight to carry when buying in store

I am very impressed by this hand soap. I found the use of a ‘tablet’ that dissolves in water to be ingenious. It saves on packaging and means that you use the correct dosage for making the soap. I did, however find that it took quite a while to dissolve the tablet completely, but was very impressed with the results. The smell of the soap was great and the texture of the foam very good, with a very luxurious feel. I would fully recommend this product to others.

I really do like the soap!! The only problem I had with it was the soap tablet took some time and effort to dissolve. It took a good hour 1/2 to fully dissolve with a lot of shaking but once it was dissolved it is my new favourite hand soap. I really like the idea of buying the soap tablets and then dissolving in water at home and reusing the bottle. I do suffer from eczema on my hands and this soap hasn't irritated it which is a good bonus. I also like its foaming.
